Can you make money playing Blackjack?

I have yet to see a profile who has made money by playing blackjack, and I'm wondering what the point of it is? In regular casino blackjack, you are already going to come out behind, statistically, even if you play perfectly, and this game also takes 1% of your winnings for the jackpot. So what is the point in playing it instead of one of the other games?

Yes of course you can make money playing Blackjack , the 1% is taken from all games , so it doesn't really make a difference at all which game you play its all down to personal preference.

It's just odd to me that I have looked at like 20 different people's profiles, and not a single one of them has a positive amount of money made in Blackjack. I'm talking long term here. If the program is using typical Blackjack rules, the house will always come out ahead in the end, even if you play perfect strategy. And that is without 1% of your winnings being taken automatically, which gives an even greater edge to the house. Unless the program is modified in some significant way, it is statistically improbable for a player to come out ahead in the long-term by playing Blackjack.

Also on a related note, how many decks are used in the program? Or is it "shuffled" after each hand? I ask because it has a fairly significant impact on how much of an advantage the house has, as well as the strategy used to play it.

So basically it seems like there is no reason to ever bet more than the minimum because it gives you no advantage other than losing your money faster.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Blackjack is not a short-term winning game and also has a lot of luck involved. In the long run, if you play conservative basic blackjack strategy perfectly you will win 48-49% of hands.

Here is my strategy for profiting at Blackjack. I now almost never leave the table while not in the green.

Bet your max amount for the first few hands... try to three or for in a row or at least more than you lose. This usually puts me at 30k -50k with 10k bets. I then switch my bet to 2k. This prevents me from losing my previous winnings and I'm able to play quickly and without worry of losing.

If i feel like my next hand is going to be lucky I will bet 10k again and then quickly switch back to lower bets. Hope this helps.

you get me xp gained by better higher. similar to real life betting in BJ, it helps to vary your bets. it is also one of the better games to get experience because you can play much faster than most other games and receive exp whether you win or lose. Poker really is the only game that people can truly be in the positive because you are playing another person, not the odds of the machine or cards.

Well here is my strategy for winning at blackjack. DO NOT PLAY IT. The game is totally fixed.

James claims that over 49% of hands have been winners. If this is correct then can someone please explain why the vast majority of players statistics are 47% or below. I have not seen any player with 49% or above so how can the average be 49%?? what am I missing?
